First and foremost, a big thanks to the band for their hard work in finishing their fan club tour at Shibuya AX. During the show, RUKA announced he will be taking a short break from band activities so he can rest from his surgery. RUKA’s message was posted on the OHP:
I’ve caused a lot of worry this time and I apologize for the trouble and inconveience I’ve caused.
Actually, before the fanclub tour had started, I felt a strangness happening within my body. I had a discussion with the office people about this. I was going to get myself checked out after the tour had finished.
However, the day before the Sapporo performance, the pain resurfaced in the middle of the night and I had to be admitted into the hospital as an emergency to do the examination.
The pain has calmed down, but we were figuring out how I was going to to go to the remaining 2 shows. The examination results came out today, but I didn’t think about it. The doctor explained the best way for me to come back as soon as possible is to have a surgery.
After this, I will be a bother to many people, especially to the fans who were so worried. I want to return to the stage as soon as possible. So until then, please wait for me.
The doctor who gave RUKA the examination, the staff at the office and RUKA himself have said the surgery he will be having is minor and is flawless. After the surgery, he will need plenty of rest in order to recover to his full health. Until then, he will not be active until the tour in the fall.
