Needless to say, this project has been a long time coming. seven had been considering starting up a street team for Nightmare for several months. She woke up and said to herself one morning, “Today is the day I do this. It’s now or never.”
NaitoUSA was born of three days of constant work: to get the LiveJournal, Forum, and MySpace operational. The site officially opened on May 24, 2008. She enlisted the assistance of a friend, who was more than happy to lend her enthusiasm and love for the band for the cause. seven began to spread the word over LiveJournal communities that she was an active member of and she came in contact with ichigo and starnaito. To her great surprise and pleasure, both of them can read and write Japanese while she is still learning. They have been an invaluable asset; full of good ideas, inspiration and helpful information.
On November 28, 2011, the street team had added D. as the street team’s 4th member.
Our goal is to spread the word about Nightmare’s fan base in the United States, and perhaps bring our presence to the band’s notice. Hopefully, our activities and fan enthusiasm can entice them to finally make tour stops in the US and make us officially affilated with avex entertainment.
Even though we are a street team based in the U.S., we welcome all walks of life from around the world.
