Hitsugi to Contribute to hide’s “TRIBUTE II” Album

A very nice piece of news this morning: Hitsugi is taking part in the upcoming tribute album “hide TRIBUTE II-Visual SPIRITS-“, commemorating the 20th anniversary of legendary artist hide’s beginnings as a solo act. Hitsugi is covering the song “D.O.D.[DRINK OR DIE]”; It’s not 100% sure if he’s doing the singing but it sure looks that way!!

The album comes out July 3rd and costs 3,000 yen. There are two volumes, TRIBUTE II and TRIBUTE III. Hitsugi’s part is on TRIBUTE II, so be careful when buying.

Hitsugi To Participate in “HALLOWEEN JUNKY ORCHESTRA”

Just announced via their OHP, Hitsugi will be part of a huge line-up in Hyde’s (VAMPS, L’arc-en-Ciel) super wonderful limited edition band with a Halloween theme. They had been working on songs since the fall of 2011 and will finally release “HALLOWEEN PARTY” on October 17th.

Hitsugi to Collaborate with Nameko V.A. CD

As most of you know, Hitsugi is a huge fan of the iPhone app, “Nameko,” which is a mushroom garden growing game. Recently, Nameko’s newly established music label, Nnf-nnf Records, have released news of a CD with various artists, one of which is Hitsugi. He will be creating a track called “NO.20.” For those who play the game, “NO.20” refers to one of the mushrooms you could grow named “Masaru.” In the English translation, his name is “Oddball.” It is also Hitsugi’s favorite Nameko from the game.
