Hitsugi’s Comment on MEJIBRAY’s Meto’s Injury

As you all know, there was much speculation Hitsugi had been with Meto, the drummer from MEJIBRAY, on the day of his injury, but there was no response from him about it until recently.

This is D.’s translation from their OHP posting:

This is Hitsugi.

First of all, I’m sorry to cause you all trouble.

The other day, on the night of the 22nd ((in Hiroshima)), I was going somewhere after finishing dinner with my friend Meto (MEJIBRAY), when the two of us had an accidental fall.

We were quickly taken to separate hospitals; as for my own diagnosis, they found I had broken a rib in my back.

There was some pain, but since I could still move, I decided to just go on with the tour.

Later, after I had come back to Tokyo, I had a second check done at a hospital here; they found that I had three additional fractures, for a total of four. ((He doesn’t specify if these are also his ribs, but this is likely.))

After that, after talking with the other members, our main office and our staff, we’ve decided to go on with the tour.
I don’t think I’ll be able to move about the stage as much as usual, but please allow me to continue.

Also, I sincerely hope that Meto will recover quickly, and that MEJIBRAY will be able to resume their tour.

However, as many of you know, Meto sustained several fractures and is quite badly injured. We at NaitoUSA are aware that some negative things are being said about the circumstances of how it happened. In light of the fact that very few people know the real story, we hope to encourage people to instead focus on supporting Hitsugi and Meto in their recovery.
